Chinese Chicken Stir Fry

You need:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 TBSP butter or coconut oil
  • Spices (ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, sesame seed oil) to taste
  • ¼ cup each soy sauce and honey (optional)
  • 3 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • toasted sesame seeds (optional)

What to do:

  1. Thinly slice chicken and season with salt, pepper, ginger and garlic and sprinkle with apple cider vinegar. Let sit 5 minutes to marinate.
  2. Sauté chicken in large skillet or wok until cooked and slightly brown and remove.
  3. Thinly slice cabbage and onion and sauté in more oil or butter in the same pan until soft.
  4. Add the chicken back to the skillet/wok and season with additional spices, soy sauce and honey (optional)
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional)
