I love peach season! Fresh peaches are one of those fruits that aren’t nearly as good when they aren’t in season. We typically just eat them (a lot of them!) when they are. Yummy peach cobbler is another great way to make use of this summer produce.

Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

Peach season inspires new recipes at our house, including this ten-minute peach cobbler! It works with fresh (but not canned) peaches and is delicious. It’s also fast and easy to make a single serving. It’s healthier, grain-free, and naturally sweetened.

I love how this fresh peach cobbler is so buttery and not overly sweet like some recipes. We serve it with homemade whipped cream, but you could also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Try topping it off with some walnuts or pecans for an added crunchy taste. It may just be the best peach cobbler I’ve had!

Word of warning: this is different than the southern or old-fashioned peach cobbler recipes you’ll find most places. These use ingredients like brown sugar and all-purpose flour to make a golden brown cobbler topping. In my version, you don’t even have to pull out your baking dish! It has all of the flavors in a simplified version.

Other Filling Options

This recipe only works with fresh peaches (not canned peaches). You may be able to thaw and drain the peach juice from frozen peaches, but I haven’t tried it.

If peaches aren’t in season you can make this recipe with other fruits instead. Raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries all work well too. Or just make this berry crisp recipe. You can also use soft fruits like pears. Apples are a little too firm, but if you’re craving apple cobbler try this recipe.

A random note on the cream: I made homemade whipped cream with heavy whipping cream and a little stevia. I used a chopper blade on my immersion blender — the same one to grind coffee. I didn’t wash the coffee out first (because I’m lazy) and it was AH-MAZING! I highly recommend adding a tiny pinch of ground coffee to homemade whipping cream, though perhaps not on peaches …

I will try this with plums! I think pears might work as well, with some cocoa added maybe

So good! I made this, this morning for my mom and I. I added some spices (cinnamon, cloves, and allspice) for more flavor and more health, then topped it off with some organic probiotic sour cream! Thanks for the quick yummy recipe! 🙂

This was so good! I used full fat coconut milk for the cream. I’ve made this with peaches, then with apples, and then blueberries. I don’t think you could go wrong!

Can you explain the ‘stevia tincture’ you referred to? I know the processed, powdered stevia products found in the supermarket are not a good choice. I usually only sweeten things with local, raw honey or small amounts of pure maple syrup, but I would be interested in trying out a truly natural and unprocessed stevia. Can you point me in the right direction? Is there a specific brand you recommend? A couple of years ago, I attempted to grow stevia. I had hoped to make my own tincture, but I couldn’t keep the plants alive! After that, I kind of gave up on stevia.

You can make your own tincture with dried stevia leaf too but there are a couple good brands (i think Sweet Leaf is one) that are available in stores as a liquid tincture

Just made this but in a single serving quantity. It’s amazing! I topped it with coconut butter and a touch of honey. Super tasty. 🙂 Thanks for the recipe.

Well, I tried it with thawed frozen organic peaches, it was good! And so easy!
Will be making it again. 🙂

Have fresh peaches waiting to be devoured!!! Will try this soon but top it with Coconut cream – Put a can of coconut cream in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight. Open carefully, scoop out the cream (milk water will be at the bottom). I like it as is or to make it more airy – whip it just like whipping cream with a little honey or stevia and vanilla. Magical coconutty yumminess!

Will regular flour work instead of almond? I’m allergic to nuts!

I made this with blackberries (couldn’t find peaches) and nectarines (again, no peaches). Both turned out very well. We also topped the cobbler with fat free frozen greek yogurt from Trader Joe’s. That probably made it not as healthy, but it was still great dessert, especially compared to alternatives like ice cream.

Delish recipe!!! I did make a few modifications and it was just as good! I cooked on my stove top in the Dutch oven (no cover), added some cinnamon & maple syrup (some of the peaches weren’t super ripe yet. My family loved it! Thanks for leading me down a healthy and delicious path of life for our family! Love all your stuff! You’re a blessing!!!!

LOVE your site. Been busy altering our lifestyle to get rid of nasty chemicals & GMO’s. Thanks to your site I have created several successful recipes (shaving lotion, baby products & such) for my family.  Next step? Getting rid of grains (i’ll miss sourdough bread terribly). Today is day one, & to land on this DELICIOUS recipe made me feel better about my choice. I’m hoping to lead the way for the rest of my family (already dumped commercial sodas 2 years ago) & this recipe will help “make my case”. Thanks!
