Today I get to talk with Morley Robbins, the creator of the Root Cause Protocol, mineral expert, and former hospital executive and consultant. He’s probably the world’s most well-read person on the topic of mineral balance in the body. I’ve followed his work for a long time and I’m really excited to share this interview with you!
Many women are told they have iron deficiency anemia, but Morley claims that’s not even a real thing. Many of us also struggle with stress or low energy. The secret likely isn’t to supplement more iron (which we’re probably already getting plenty of), but to bring other minerals like copper and magnesium into balance in the body. We cover how they’re responsible for setting off energy production and fighting oxidative stress.
We really go deep on these topics and Morley gives plenty of food for thought! Lots to unpack in today’s episode and I hope you’ll join me as I chat with Morley Robbins.

Are we not supposed to supplement with vitamin D even in the winter? I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around this concept that vitamin D shouldn’t be supplemented.
From my understanding, Morley recommends getting vitamin D from more natural sources, including fish oil and cod liver oil.
