Paul Jaminet is the founder and President of Angiex, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for solid cancers. Angiex is built on discoveries made by Paul’s wife and Angiex co-founder, Shou-Ching Jaminet, that have enabled a new class of drug: Nuclear-Delivered Antibody-Drug Conjugates or ND-ADCs. ND-ADCs deliver chemotherapeutic payloads directly to the nucleus of cells in tumors, greatly increasing the efficacy and safety of cancer therapies. Angiex’s lead drug, AGX101, will begin clinical trials in March 2022.

Paul was educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he obtained degrees in physics and philosophy, and the University of California at Berkeley where he obtained a Ph.D. in physics. He was an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics before leaving academia to help start a software company in 1996. He loved entrepreneurship and has since started four companies.

About 2003, Paul discovered the Paleo diet and was inspired to take time off from work to learn how to be healthy. That led to launching a blog, writing a diet and health book, Perfect Health Diet, and organizing a health retreat, the Perfect Health Retreat. Paul now seeks to combine the best of natural health and pharmaceutical science to optimize everyone’s health.
