I present to you my favorite salad ever! While our garden is (somehow) still producing strawberries, I’ve been eating this salad as much as I can! I’ve even eaten this for breakfast with eggs on the side. Sometimes, I add grilled chicken and it is an entire meal.
Strawberry Feta Salad Recipe
This strawberry and feta salad combines sweet and tangy flavors with the crunch of cashews and pecans for a balanced and fresh meal.
This salad came to be one day when I was inspired by the seasonal offerings of my garden and our local farmers market, and has made an appearance almost every day since. When my garden ran out of fresh strawberries and spinach one day, I made the trip to our local farmers market and discovered a new vendor selling homemade, raw, grass-fed cheese. Yes please!
I bought all the flavors… because cheese!… but hadn’t used feta much before and wasn’t sure of the best way to use it. When it doubt, throw it on a salad. So I did, and it was delicious.
If you are the over-achieving type and have five extra minutes, you could make a homemade salad dressing to go on this salad… maybe a strawberry vinaigrette?
If this salad isn’t your thing, consider trying one of my other salad recipes like this citrus chicken salad.
And of course, you could substitute any lettuce of green for the spinach and any cheese for the feta if you don’t have those on hand. The strawberries are pretty vital to the recipe though, but raspberries could work in a pinch 🙂

mm sounds delicious! I make mine almost the same- Avocado slices instead of cuc and sometimes I throw thin peach slices! I put feta cheese, sunflower seeds and sometimes almond slices. I bet Walnut would be good with it to. Anywho- Will definitely have to try it with cucumber.
I prefer brie or blue cheese on such salads. They’re mixing very well with sweet fruits and crunchy nuts. And try a pear, when strawberries are out of season.
Almost mine too but i like balsamic vinegar and blueberries on mine
this is almost my exact favorite salad, just switch out dried cranberries for the strawberries and red pepper for the cucumber. :o) I also make a homemade ranch dressing that I love!
