Exercise-Movement-Pelvic Floor Health with Brianne Grogan

Today I’m joined by Brianne Grogan of FemFusionFitness.com for a great discussion about female health, pelvic floor health, and when Kegels aren’t a such a good idea.

  1. Katie, thank you so much for taking the time to have a transcript made of the show. Such a great feature of your site and your podcast! Although looking through the notes, I think I have to work on how often I say “yeah.” 🙂 Thanks again for having me on the show!

    • Thanks for being on the show, Brianne! Yes, the transcript certainly is telling for me as well!

  2. Wow! Two of my favorite wellness experts in one place. Honored to have interviewed you both for my show and cannot wait to listen to the two of you together.

P.S. Love the transcript feature as well Katie. You are rocking the podcast space for sure!

  3. Can you comment on cervical/uterine prolapse? I have 6 children, just miscarried my 7th last December. I had cervical prolapse with #3 & 4, but not the others, however 7 weeks after my miscarriage/D&C , I was feeling great and had finally stopped bleeding so started doing 5 kettle bell swings 2 x a day for 2 days, but they caused my cervix to prolapse. Two midwives told me when I asked about it that kettle bells are horrible for child bearing women because they pose a significant risk or prolapse issues. My chiropractor also said he has more people with injuries from kettle bell exercises than any other fitness. So now I am trying to deal with that. Anything suggestions? What about vaginal cone weights?
I look forward to hearing from your doula experience too Katie, I know you are a kettle bell fan.

    • Google….mizan therapy for prolapse.
