Thanks to Vital Proteins for sponsoring this episode of the Wellness Mama podcast. I use gelatin and collagen powder daily in cooking, baking, smoothies, hot drinks and as a supplement. Collagen helps reduce wrinkles and improve skin health, so this may be the reason that I often hear “You look too young to have five kids!” If you’ve never tried gelatin or collagen, I definitely recommend checking our Vital Proteins! 1. Does anyone know where I can find a transcript? Is it on this page? I learn much more effectively via reading rather than listening. Thanks!

      • Thank you so much Katie!! Love the blog and podcasts, so grateful for you!

      • Hi i was wondering if you might have info on Hereditary Itchyosis Vulgaris?
Thank you so much ahead of time for any info is gratful.

        • It’s not something I’ve researched, but I hope find some answers!

      • Still looking for transcript. Could you provide a link?

        THanks
        Cheryl

    • Me Too!! I wish most blogs that offered podcasts or videos would also include a written version as I don’t do well with ‘radio’ or video as I do with reading!

    • I never listen to podcasts. They take too much time. I read quickly and had much rather read!!

    • Has there been a transcript provided as of yet?

  2. yay! this is exciting 🙂 Katie your voice is so cute! love it 🙂

  3. Thank you so much for sharing and keeping us informed!

  4. Hi, Katie. I notice at the end of the info up above that you state Vital Proteins is your go-to source for all things gelatin and collagen. Are you still a proponent of Great Lakes gelatin? I learned of them from your blog a little over a year ago and have been purchasing their product religiously. Is there any reason to make this switch, other than the fact that Vital Proteins sponsored this episode?

    Thank you. Love your site.

    • I’ve been able to verify from Vital Proteins that their gelatin does indeed come from grass-fed and pastured sources, but Great Lakes is harder to get answers from, which is the reason for my personal switch. Both are good companies and make excellent products.

  5. Excellent tips for getting glowing skin. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Hello Katie,

Could you provide a link to the transcript for this podcast on glowing skin?
Like others, I prefer reading than watching.

    Thank you

  7. Katie,
I have pregnancy-induced rosecea and wanted to try the niacinmide 4% gel. Any suggestions on what brand I should get? Thank you so so much! LOVE everything you do! Congrats on your beautiful baby girl!

  8. Great podcast! I’m interested in trying Niacinamide B3 Serum you mentioned. Do you have any recommendations? In my initial search almost all contain phenoxyethanol which I’ve heard can damage the central nervous system over time. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

  9. Has anyone tried Dr Trevor’s skincare line?

  10. I wouldn’t trust anything sponsored by Arnold S
