So… once upon a time, my cell phone contract was up for renewal, my old phone was dying and there was a great deal (aka free) on smart phones, so against my better judgement, I made the jump to an iPhone.
I was one of those people who laughed at friends who talked about how they couldn’t function without their iPhone because their whole life was on it… and now I am one of them! I use my phone to manage emails, listen to podcasts, catch up on health reading, and keep track of my schedule and to-do lists.
It seems that a lot of people are equally reliant on their iPhones and about half of the traffic to WellnessMama.com comes from mobile sources. Because of this, I had an iPhone app created for the blog which many readers have used and enjoyed.
However, the most referenced posts from mobile phones are recipes, which makes sense as many readers have told me they reference them while cooking. WellnessMama.com is super mobile friendly and provides a way to easily find and view recipes on the site, but I wanted to create a resource that would allow you (and me) to reference all of my recipes in a single place without having to search through other posts.
Enter Wellness Mama Recipe App
I worked with Abel James of FatBurningMan.com and his awesome team to create an incredible app for both iPhone and iPad. It has all of my recipes in an easy to use format with updated photographs.
My favorite part of the app is the ability to add recipes to a shopping list and then check items off the list as you are shopping. I’ve used it myself while shopping and it is VERY convenient!
