Delicious and simple Caprese salad with tomatoes, mozarella, basil, olive oil, and spices.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Slice tomatoes in ¼ or ½ inch thick slices, discarding top and bottom slice.
  2. Fan alternating tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving dish.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  4. Sprinkle with shredded fresh basil.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.

Notes

Some people like to drizzle the finished salad with balsamic vinegar. I prefer ours plain, but if you like balsamic vinegar, drizzle away!
