I love peach season! Peaches are one of those fruits that aren’t nearly as good when they aren’t in season, so we typically just eat them (a lot of them!) when they are. (If peaches aren’t in season, this recipe can be made with berries or other soft fruit, or you can try this berry cobbler recipe.)

Healthy Peach Cobbler Recipe

This year, peach season has already inspired ten new recipes at our house, and here’s the first: ten minute peach cobbler! It only works with fresh peaches and is delicious! It’s also fast and easy to make a single serving. If you’re a peach fan, try this recipe! It’s also grain and added sugar free.

A random note on the cream: I made homemade whipped cream with heavy whipping cream and a little stevia. I used a chopper blade on my immersion blender — the same one to grind coffee. I didn’t wash the coffee out first (because I’m lazy) and it was AH-MAZING! I highly recommend adding a tiny pinch of ground coffee to homemade whipping cream, though perhaps not on peaches …

Healthy Peach Cobbler Recipe

An incredibly fast cobbler with healthy ingredients. Can also be made with berries or other fruits.

Ingredients

  • 6 peaches
  • 4 TBSP butter (or coconut oil)
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whipped cream (optional):

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 drops stevia extract (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Peel the peaches if desired and cut into slices.
  • Melt the butter or coconut oil in a skillet on the stove.
  • Add the peach slices and cook approximately 5 minutes or until just starting to soften.
  • Add the almond flour and vanilla and stir to coat peaches.
  • Cook an additional 1-2 minutes and serve.
  • Put in whipped cream ingredients in blender or immersion blender and blend until creamy. Don't over-blend or you'll get butter!
  • Top with whipped cream if desired

Notes

If making a larger or smaller batch, use 1 TBSP butter or coconut oil and 1-2 TBSP almond flour per peach.

    So good! I made this, this morning for my mom and I. I added some spices (cinnamon, cloves, and allspice) for more flavor and more health, then topped it off with some organic probiotic sour cream! Thanks for the quick yummy recipe! 🙂

    This was so good! I used full fat coconut milk for the cream. I’ve made this with peaches, then with apples, and then blueberries. I don’t think you could go wrong!

    Can you explain the ‘stevia tincture’ you referred to? I know the processed, powdered stevia products found in the supermarket are not a good choice. I usually only sweeten things with local, raw honey or small amounts of pure maple syrup, but I would be interested in trying out a truly natural and unprocessed stevia. Can you point me in the right direction? Is there a specific brand you recommend? A couple of years ago, I attempted to grow stevia. I had hoped to make my own tincture, but I couldn’t keep the plants alive! After that, I kind of gave up on stevia.

      You can make your own tincture with dried stevia leaf too but there are a couple good brands (i think Sweet Leaf is one) that are available in stores as a liquid tincture

    Have fresh peaches waiting to be devoured!!! Will try this soon but top it with Coconut cream – Put a can of coconut cream in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight. Open carefully, scoop out the cream (milk water will be at the bottom). I like it as is or to make it more airy – whip it just like whipping cream with a little honey or stevia and vanilla. Magical coconutty yumminess!
