You’ve probably heard horror stories of 3-foot tapeworms camping out in someone’s gut. Most parasites though are so small they can only be seen with a microscope! Millions (if not billions!) of people around the world have parasites. Many don’t even know it.

Intestinal Parasites

There’s a very good chance you have yeast overgrowth or intestinal worms. The CDC estimates over 60 million in the US are chronically infected with toxoplasmosis. And at least 14% of us have been exposed to toxocariasis. And that’s just in a developed country.

Countries with poor sanitation and poor hygiene due to economic factors are even more likely to have issues. The World Health Organization estimates over 700,000 people worldwide die each year from parasites and vector-borne pathogens. The prevalence of parasitic diseases is likely much higher than estimates.

Our bodies are literally crawling with hundreds of strains of yeasts and bacteria. The digestive tract alone holds more than three pounds of bacteria. We need them in the right balance for good digestion and nutrient absorption in the intestinal tract. Probiotics are the good guys and have a huge impact on our health.

Out of Balance

When the good bacteria get out of balance, problems begin. There are many risk factors including diet, certain medications, stress, contact with infected sources, and others. Our bodies also host naturally occurring yeasts. When we have an overgrowth this can have a big impact on health (and not in a good way). While vaginal yeast infections may sound familiar, they’re usually a sign of a much larger infection.

The most disturbing invaders to our bodies, in my opinion, are parasites. Sadly, most people carry these guys around too. Studies have found that most people, especially those with chronic diseases and cancer, are host to at least one kind of parasite.

Parasites can range from tiny ones only seen by a microscope to long tapeworms (several feet long). A tapeworm can live for 30+ years and parasite infections can last for years!

Different Types of Parasites

We don’t really want to think about the creepy crawlies in our gastrointestinal tract. But it’s important to know what we’re dealing with here. With the high prevalence of intestinal parasites, there are a whole range of different types. Common intestinal parasites include:

  • Whipworms – Nearly 800 million worldwide have whipworms. They hang out in the large intestine and are a type of helminth infection. It’s transmitted by fecal contaminated soil and contaminated food grown in that soil. Lighter infections don’t even have symptoms.
  • Tapeworm infection – Tapeworms can cause intestinal parasitic infections but they can also travel to other parts of the body. Young tapeworms form cysts and can live in other organs, including the brain, liver, spine, and heart.
  • Roundworms – The larvae can infect various body tissues. Ascariasis is also a type of roundworm. Mature worms like living in the gastrointestinal tract, blood, and lymphatic system.
  • Pinworms – These are the most common intestinal worm infection in the US. The females lay thousands of eggs while their host is asleep. This can cause intense itching on the anus and restless sleep. The microscopic eggs are most commonly spread between young children. It’s important to regularly wash all sheets, pajamas, and underwear. You’ll also want to treat the whole family if one of you has it.
  • Hookworm Infection – Along with Ascaris, hookworms are a helminth parasite. They live in the small intestine and attach to the intestinal wall and cause blood loss. Many infected people don’t have symptoms.
  • Entamoeba histolytica – The CDC estimates only 10-20% of people with E. Histolytica show symptoms. It’s more common in tropical regions or you can pick it up by visiting one. Those living in unsanitary conditions or men in homosexual relationships are also at risk.
  • Protozoan – Protozoa infections, like giardia and giardia lamblia, are microscopic. They infect the blood and can be transmitted from one person to another through mosquito or bug bites. They can also infect the human intestinal tract and be transmitted through feces.
  • Cryptosporidium – Aka crypto, this parasite is one of the most common waterborne diseases in the US. You can get it from the ingestion of contaminated food or water, including while swimming. It can cause symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, and weight loss. Not everyone who is infected has symptoms, but they can still pass it to others for about 2 months after infection. Those with a weakened immune system are most at risk for serious symptoms.

How Do We Get Parasites?

Parasites can enter the body in a variety of ways, depending on the type. You can get it through contact with contaminated soil, eating raw or undercooked meats, or even from bug bites. If you’re traveling to a developing country or drink contaminated water you’re also at risk. Because some parasites are microscopic and live on surfaces for several weeks, they’re easy to spread.

Treating parasites is a 3 step process. First, we have to kill the invaders, then they (and the toxins they create) need to be flushed from the body. Finally, we need to support the body in healing and regenerating itself.

How to Tell If You Have Parasites

There are many symptoms directly or indirectly associated with parasites. If you have several of these symptoms, there’s a good chance you have an infestation. Remember that some parasites don’t even cause symptoms though!

Symptoms of Parasites

  • Lowered immune system and constant illness
  • Rectal itching, especially at night
  • Digestive problems like bloating, cramps, constipation, diarrhea, or nausea
  • Bloating and gas
  • Tired all the time
  • Floaters or spots in the eyes
  • Trouble sleeping and teeth grinding at night
  • Anemia
  • Asthma
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Psoriasis or eczema
  • Extreme hunger
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Plus many more…

If left untreated, Candida, yeast, and parasite overgrowth have been linked to a plethora of chronic conditions. Yeast and Parasites are often found in people with the following conditions:

  • Infertility or permanent fertility damage
  • Cancer
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Autoimmune disease
  • Arthritis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Malnutrition
  • Vitamin Deficiencies
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Leaky Gut Syndrome
  • Kidney Stones
  • Chron’s Disease
  • Skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis
  • Insomnia and sleep disturbances
  • Digestive problems of all kinds

Conventional Parasite Treatments

Typically your healthcare provider will order a stool test. Stool samples that don’t contain live, visible parasites are considered negative. PCR tests though can detect dead or dormant parasites. If someone tests positive they can be prescribed anti-parasitic drugs.

Natural Remedies for Intestinal Parasites

The good news is there are effective natural treatments to help the body kill and remove parasites. If you suspect that you have an issue, you might consider some of the treatments below.

Change What You Eat

Since parasites thrive in a weakened immune system, eating healthy is one of our best defenses. Lots of sugar depresses our immune system and causes microbe imbalances. I recommend getting rid of all processed sugar and even reducing natural sugars. Sources like honey and high-sugar fruits can still cause problems during an active infection.

Some natural stevia is ok once in a while, but avoid anything that gives the body a sugar source and feeds yeast or parasites. Also, consider skipping dairy to give your body a boost. Eating healthy whole foods is a must!

Sweat it Out

As your body kills off parasites, their toxic by-products must be removed from the body. Some of these (like heavy metals) are best removed through the sweat glands. Work up a sweat by exercising, using the sauna, or even working in the garden! Taking cayenne is another good way to kick up the heat.

Diatomaceous Earth (DE)

This naturally occurring substance has an amazing ability to kill parasites and parasite eggs. It’s naturally high in the silica we need for hair, skin, and nail growth. Plus it has trace minerals and can help restore body tissue and improve digestion.

I start with 1 tsp a day in 8 ounces of water and work up to 1-2 Tablespoons a day. Be sure to only use food-grade DE. Taking DE may also cause a Herxheimer reaction (see more below).

Apple Cider Vinegar

What can’t apple cider vinegar do? It may help lower blood sugar, improves digestion, and kills harmful pathogens. It helps the body detox for clearer skin and a healthier body. While it won’t kill parasites on its own, it strengthens the body’s defenses against pathogens.

ACV is strong on its own so be sure to take it in water. I start with 1 teaspoon up to 3 times a day, 30 minutes before a meal. You can increase up to a Tablespoon at a time.

Probiotics

Probiotics help restore the helpful gut bacteria that are wiped out by parasites (or antibiotics or hormonal birth control). We need these good bugs for a healthy gut. I include lots of fermented foods in my diet, and I also like this probiotic supplement. Just don’t take them within an hour of ACV or diatomaceous earth though!

Herbs and Spices

Garlic is a powerhouse when it comes to pathogens and parasites. You can include minced raw garlic cloves liberally in your diet.

Cinnamon is another natural remedy for parasites. You can use ½ teaspoon of high-quality cinnamon powder in water, kefir, or coconut milk yogurt up to three times a day.

Anti-parasitic essential oils include clove, eucalyptus, fennel, and white camphor. These are great to diffuse or can be diluted and used topically. Consult with a qualified aromatherapist before using any essential oils internally.

Herbs commonly used for parasites include andrographis and a blend of clove, wormwood, and black walnut hull. You can also use digestion and immune boosting herbs to strengthen your body’s natural defenses. Be sure to do your research before trying any new herbal regimen!

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant and great for immune support. It’s also helpful for parasite infections. If you have parasite symptoms you can use 5 grams of vitamin C per day spread out in 2-3 doses. Too much can cause loose stools so you can adjust the dose down if needed.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a natural, mild anti-fungal, and very nourishing to the body. If you’re not already using it in your cooking, it also tastes great blended into coffee or tea. You can add several tablespoons a day for healthy fats and to support healthy bowel movements as you’re eliminating toxins. Personally, I don’t use coconut oil as much anymore and mainly use olive oil.

Herxheimer’s Reaction

Sometimes getting rid of parasites can be uncomfortable. Herxheimer’s reaction, named after the German doctor who discovered it, is basically a die-off reaction. Trying to treat parasites and infections quickly or with potent remedies can cause a Herx reaction.

It’s best to be on an anti-yeast/parasite diet for several weeks before even starting supplements, This can help minimize reactions. You can start with small doses of apple cider vinegar and diatomaceous earth. Work your way up to help keep the die-off symptoms at bay.

You may even find that you “catch a cold” a week or so after starting to treat your yeast and parasite symptoms. This is actually a mild Herxheimer reaction. Backing down supplements and drinking more water should help it pass quickly.

Other Important Notes on Intestinal Parasites

Removing parasites is a difficult job for your body. It’s important to support your body during the process. Regular exercise, a good diet, adequate sleep, and limiting exposure to toxins all help!

Epsom salt baths are another excellent way to help detox through the skin. I like to use 1/2 cup of Epsom salts in hot bath water or try one of these detox bath recipes.

Be sure to drink plenty of water to flush out die-off toxins faster. And of course, plenty of sleep gives the body enough time to regenerate and heal. I aim for at least 9 hours a night. It’s also very important to skip the sugar and refined carbs as these make the process much slower. Raw vegetables and healthy fiber sources help keep your energy levels up and clean the body faster.

    So, I definitely have parasites and candida. What came first, who knows. i can feel them crawling all over my body and have seen them in my stool so I know for sure. i’m guessing they are in my muscles (sadly sort of getting used to it but at least it doesn’t make me cry from fear anymore). And they feel huge and numerous in number. I even feel one in my skull every once in awhile. Yeah.

    My question is, will DE actually be able to kill all the parasites all over my body and the ones deep inside. This is not an issue of just intestinal parasites anymore. If DE won’t help, what can I do? I’m not interested in paralyzing them just so they can wake up even stronger. It’s why I haven’t taken any anti-parasitic medications. Thank you!!!!

      If you have a serious case of infestation, I would look into using chlorine dioxide. My boys have benefitted greatly from it! We’ve gotten rid of very many parasites! Look up Kerri Rivera and her book Healing the Symptoms Known as Autism. Her protocol includes DE!

    Glad I just came across this. I think I may have a parasite. I’ve had IBS for 9 yrs. I pretty much try to manage it but I “cheat” a lot which causes exciting trips to the bathroom and fun times with gas. However, I’ve noticed over the past few weeks and esp. The last few days something is not right with me. Sorry in advance for TMI but if you have any words of wisdom I welcome them…..I have had loos stool for days now and massive flatulence that smells obscenely bad. My belly is gurgling and I have belly pains and am bloated. I’ve also noticed headaches. Anything I eat makes me gassy. I already do not eat dairy, beef, pork, egg yolk, fried foods, etc. however I do eat a lot of fruit and I use coconut sugar to sweeten foods. Unfort I can not go on a strict veggie diet due to my IBS because I need soluble fiber as a base for my belly. I’ve been eating white rice,sweet potatoes, and oatmeal the past few days in hopes that if would give me some sort of relief….but nothing has. I’m making an appt to see a GI but I need relief nowwwww. Any thoughts here? Thanks!!

      Hey Jen…
      Step 1: cut out all grains, sugar and dairy. This includes the oatmeal and white rice you’ve been eating. Many “dieticians” will recommend foods like oatmeal, white rice and yoghurt for individuals with IBS as these foods are considered “soft on the gut.” Though true in regards to their texture, these foods are actually loaded with antinutrients and sugars which further aggregate the IBS and prevent gut healing.
      Step 2: Look into the FODMAPS and GAPS diets. Both eliminate certain starches and fermentable sugars that are problematic for IBS sufferers. They also emphasize healing of the gut through bone broths and probiotic rich foods/supplements.
      Step 3: Listen to your body instead of worrying about what restricted foods you “cannot” eat and what you “should” eat. Through the healing process of bringing your gut and digestion back to optimal health, take notice of what foods and eating habits work for you. Each individual is different on their path to wellness.

        Jen, I have a similar problem with IBS to you! I can’t eat certain fruits that are not on the FODMAP diet (please google it, it has been life changing to me). Lots and lots of starches are bad too. Starch in large amounts just increases the amount of loose stools etc. I’ve found eating veggies on the FODMAP diet, lots of raw salads, not too much over cooked starchy vegies and then fish and chicken and meat without too much fat on it (I’m able to eat more fat now that my gut is healing). I don’t eat wheat anymore. I was eating rice and oats etc, but found myself carb loading again at a time of stress and got my guts into a bad state again. Stress also causes a lot of problems with IBS. I have to physically feel myself breathing deeply into my stomach in order to calm my system down and slow down the IBS. I’ve found I can actually sit down now with a drink and calm myself so much that it stops the runs completely (when I can feel it coming on). I eat dairy because I find I don’t have too much of a problem with it, but others do. My main problem is with too much fruit, cauliflower, onion (the worst vege of all), cabbage, bok choi, massive amounts of garlic (small amounts ok), lots of starchy veggies like pumpkin slow cooked just about kills me. Sugar in any form is terrible for me. I’m better with meat and less starchy veggies like courgettes, carrots, broccoli, salad veges and plenty of greens. I’m trying bone broths now which taste great, but can’t season it too much with black pepper as I can feel acid rising. I basically know how you feel Jen and hope you find what works for you and get some relief, but PLEASE CHECK OUT THE FODMAP DIET! Hope this helps a bit.

    Why not take probiotics within an hour of Apple Cider Vinegar or Diatomaceous Earth?

    Hi, I would like to try this cleanse, and was wondering do I need to take the apple cidar vinegar right from the teaspoon or can it be diluted? Also, do I have to eliminate all sugars, like the ones found in fruits? As I cannot locate any fruit that do not have some sugar content.

    I have done 3 different parasite cleanses over the last 5 years and had good results with all of them. Now I just maintain a wholesome diet and consume anti-parasitic foods. I take garlic daily and apple cider vinegar and munch on activated pepitas daily. This really seems to work.
    I was also told to try cloves for parasites, has anyone used cloves for this? I’d love to know how to use them.

    On the whole idea of die off, one day on a cleanse I woke up with an almighty headache and severe nausea. I thought I was really ill. My husband stayed home and took care of the kids so I could lay down. Then about an hour or so later I suddenly had a big bowel movement and lo and behold, there were 3 very dead parasites in my toilet bowl. My headache and nausea vanished and I felt great for the rest of the day. I know, yuk!

      I have some kind of parasite that has spread to my muscles and limbs. I took one dose of parasite medicine then started the vinegar and garlic. Will those work in my muscles and limbs also or do I need more parasite medicine. Also does the die off make /ours limbs numb

    back, they are also in my head. I started today grape juice welchs 100 per
    cent with 1 teaspoon vinegar. I have already used D earth.

    I think I may have parasites. I recently had a baby in February 2014. During the third trimester I started experiencing constipation and bad tummy aches. Then it turned into constipation then loose stools(formed) but forever wipers and very stinky. They turned into thin(size of finger, not pencil thin). I would have some days where I wasn’t hungry and my tummy would cramp and be nauseated and no appetite. Well when I had the baby I ate some hospital food and within hours my belly was cramping. The following morning I went to the bathroom and had the worst smelling stool of my life and it was solid but mushy at the same time. I had nausea and stomach cramps all day that day. Well then a couple days later developed body aches all over like the flu. All my joints and muscles are achy and I have loss of appetite, nausea, burping a lot, hiccuping, stomach cramps. So I’m guessing I probably have some parasites going on. The doctor says it’s unlikely cause we don’t live in a third world country. I’m sorry but I don’t buy that crap, parasites are all around us. Anyways, my MIL gave me diatomaceous earth to try. She used it for yeast overgrowth in her body. I’m wondering if there is anything else I should do like as far as diet? I’m having a hard time figuring out what I should eat and shouldn’t eat and coming up with meal plans. Does it sound to you like I have parasites? Or do you think something else is going on? I hate to keep going back to the dr if this is something I can treat naturally instead of doing a bunch of tests being exposed to radiation from CT scans and MRI etc. I just want to get back to normal and be able to eat normal again and gain weight! My pre pregnancy weight was 85 and I was 123 before I delivered him and now I’m down to 102, I don’t want to loose anymore weight I need to maintain or gain. I never want to be that low again 😮

      It could be parasites.. a naturopathic doctor or a functional medicine practitioner could do a stool test to be sure. I would definitely go back to a doc if anything changes to rule out a problem like a bowel impaction or an organ problem but the DE shouldn’t hurt either way…

    I just wanted to say thank you so much for this article! I’m not quite sure how long I’ve had candida & parasites (I’m assuming years!), but last April (2013) I started seeing an herbalist for digestive issues & anxiety. When she did a scan, I was full of parasites & candida, which she believed was causing the digestive issues & anxiety. I have been using herbal cleanses & been on a low carb diet for almost a year and have still been battling both infections. I read your article about 1 month ago and ordered some DE. I had only been taking it for 1 1/2 weeks before my last herbalist visit, which was on 3/7/14. When she did the scan, my parasites & candida had reduced greatly! Furthermore, when she tested the DE, it tested better than the Para Cleanse I had previously been taking off and on throughout the past year! I will still continue to stay on my low carb/no sugar diet & continue taking DE, but I just wanted to share my results with anyone who might be on the fence trying DE. Another bonus – it’s much cheaper than the parasite cleanses. FYI – I’ve been taking 2 TB a day – 1 TB in the morning when I get up and 1 TB in the afternoon when I get home from work. Thanks again! 🙂

      Hi Emily,
      I’m curious about the scan, I would like to see if my holistic dr. can do it?
      I’ve heard of all kinds of other tests and done the stool test, it takes a long time for the results.
      I’m about to start DE again and will get tested again afterwards.
      My 1st stool test was positive for parasites. In the past, I’ve taken the meds the dr. prescribes with temporary results.

      I started using DE for parasite cleanse and then noticed on the container that it has a high amount of aluminum in it. I stopped using it but all this good feedback makes me want to start it again. I don’t know if I should be concerned because, hasn’t it been said that Alzheimers patients have a high level of aluminum in there brain/blood? Anyone have any comments or further info on this?

    I think I inadvertently gave myself a nasty die-off reaction when trying to fend off a mild cold.
    I started out by taking 1 or two cloves of garlic a day when I felt a little sniffle coming on. I thought it had disappeared but I started to feel a bit yuck when my period came on so I added some coconut oil, lemon water and an extra clove of garlic per day to the mix, in addition to ACV on some days. I’ve been gradually feeling worse with no idea why, and up until yesterday I continually upped the ante. I started getting nasty headaches and now I have a sore throat and a tight feeling when I swallow. My arms were also itchy, not like I’d been bitten by bugs or anything, but just insanely itchy for no apparent reason. Now it all makes sense! So now I’ve stopped with the garlic and I’m sipping lemon water now. I hope this reaction passes because I feel awful 🙁
    It had me scared half to death last night when it felt like my throat was closing in.

    Wellness Mama…My 15 month old daughter has became infested with worms. No dr has been able to diagnose what kind. They were in her diaper and even coming out of the side of her toenai. i gave her abenzole and it got a little better but is coming back. Is it safe to give her diatomaceous earth and how would I get her to take it? By the way…love ur site!l

    Not sure where exactly to start with this. Talked to my sister tonight and when I mentioned that I’ve got a sinus infection and the Dr. gave me antibiotics she got upset and told me she hates me taking antibiotics and that she’s sure I’m filled with fungus. Honestly, the first thing I thought was fungus, yeah right, she’s went off the deep end. Google is my friend so I finally decided to check it out and found some interesting info before I stumbled on this site. So now I’m wondering if maybe she isn’t completely nutty. So a brief history – I’ve had sinus problems most of my life which I blamed on a broken nose that I’ve since had fixed and I still have issues. Sinus infections can come on almost instantly. I may have a runny nose one day and the next everything is green and congested sometimes to the point I’m dizzy. I get major headaches especially with weather changes. I can’t be around strong smells, perfumes, candles, body lotions, smoke of any kind, without getting a headache and becoming short of breath. I don’t sleep much. I average 4 – 6 hours a night and some nights I don’t sleep at all. Was diagnosed with diverticulitis that flares up occasionally. Have had stomach pain & diarrhea issues at least 3 times a week for approx. the last 6 weeks. If I split the skin inside my mouth, ex: biting my cheek, I get canker sores. I get cold sores a couple times a year if my system gets really down. Was diagnosed with fibromyalgia approx. 8 years ago. Joints ache, flesh and skin hurt. Sometimes to the point that if I’m gently patted on the arm it will be painful. Sometimes I can’t stand to wear long sleeves because my skin hurts. Have gained weight over the last 5 years, mostly in my belly that I can’t seem to get rid of. To be in the healthy range according to the BMI chart for my height I need to lose 50 pounds. Skin related, if I’m in the sun I get little white bumps on my upper arms that sometimes have white puss in them. It was worse as a kid, maybe because I was in the sun more then. My legs don’t get the white bumps but they get tiny little blood spots that come to the surface. Mom always said I was allergic to the sun. Don’t have much physical energy and get tired easily with just walking or small chores. Keep in mind that the energy could be related to the fact that I’m 48, work a full-time semi-stressful job, am a full-time college student, have a husband, children, pets, and a house to take care of, among other activities. I can guarantee that my diet stinks considering I usually start my day off with a Coke. So anyway, what do you think – fungus, bugs, or just age. I’m not against making lifestyle changes, I just honestly don’t have any idea how or what to begin with and definitely don’t like the sound of Herx Reaction. Any thoughts, opinions, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

      To me it definitely sounds like Candida AND parasites (they go hand in hand). These are a couple of the better websites for info that I’ve come across and the first link has a questionnaire to help you determine if you have a Candida overgrowth. Be ready to make some drastic eating habit changes, at least temporarily. That coke first thing in the morning is definitely gonna have to go lol.

      Wow Dana I have suffered similar to you. You must cut the sugar out and eat healthier and also take a multi b vit. Also, I started to do the hulda Clark parasite cleanse, wormwood, clove and black walnut. The morning of day three I passed a worm, today, day four, different type of stringy worm. Sorry for the yucky info, but if you try these three herbs and follow it as well as b vits, you will get results. Its gross and I feel so yuck knowing these things ate in me, but better I know now and get them out. I was heading towards a wheelchair yet no doctors could help. I KNEW I was being poisoned, but by what? My whole body, organs and systems breaking down due to lack of b vits, parasites and then being poisoned by my sugar addiction
      which has gone after 6days and I’m feeling better in every way, except for thinking about the parasites yet to come out……google about what parasites can cause and the symptoms they create. I just know that the three herbs work, I have seen the results.

      Dana, your symptoms of fibro, aching joints, sensitive skin are typical Lyme symptoms. You may also have parasites and candida, but the prudent thing to do is to go to great lengths to rule out Lyme disease. This is tricky since it most likely is chronic and tests could very easily show up negative. Try to find a lyme literate doc. Lyme disease is reported in all US states but the NE is the worst:especially pa. nj delaware md ny. I live in eastern pa and this area is a hotbed for lyme. I know very few people that never had any history of lyme disease.

      I know this is an older post but thought I would answer for you and any other
      people that are curious.

      Yes, humaworm is a good company to deal with. They list testimonials
      and are very prompt with sending there product out. It seems like it takes
      about a week as they weigh the herbs individually for each capsule. They
      have more than one cleanse for the body and recommend the whole body
      cleanse first before doing the liver cleanse etc. It worked well on me but I
      had taken cayenne pepper that gave me the Herxhiemer effect bad for
      about a day a few months before.

      So, when I began the humaworm cleanse I did not have a big die off and
      felt ok. I did get rid of other parasites that caused a couple of issues using
      humaworm. There are different herbs/spices that kill different parasites in
      the body. According to science there are between 1000 – 3000 different
      species of parasites that can invade the body depending on whose research
      you read. Science also recently stated that they believe they are even at the
      quantum level.

      Science has also recently come up with a new dye test for parasites that
      cause breast cancer. It was thought that parasites were a secondary factor
      in the cause of breast cancer but now (Dec.2015) with the new test they
      have proved that parasites are 100% the cause of breast cancer! I believe
      that science will also find that true in ovarian cancer as well as other types
      of cancers.

      Note: Both ovarian and breast cancer were thought to be caused by parasites
      75% of the time by science.

    So I am in the later part of the first trimester of my 6th pregnancy. I know that I have some parasites. I mean who doesn’t? Where would I start? We have already been eating a pretty clean GAPS diet since Oct. with a few splurges for birthdays lately. What would be o.k. to consume during pregnancy? We are already using the coconut oil, consuming olive oil, and probiotics. We have Diatomaceous earth and wondered if that would be o.k. to consume right now as well as more garlic and apple cider vinegar. Should we do all at once or start with one for a week and then add another things? I really want the baby to have the best nutrition possible. My pregnancies have all been rather healthy but all the kids have had minor health issues, they got it from me, which is why we were trying the GAPS. O.k. I guess I should stop. To many questions. :o) Thanks.

      A few months at a time i have been really trying to cut out products that could be really harmful. I notice, I itch a lot every year and not sure if this weather could be my deal? I itch in my stomach a lot and sometimes I feel really drained. I watched a few YouTube videos about this parasaite deal and wonder, if I am host to one myself? I eat Sushi but, not a whole lot. Every now and then. I am scaling back slowly on pop products and drinking a lot of Green Tea. At one point, I became so depressed i was always tired and lacked a lot of energy. Not sure how I bounced back. I was noted as nemic a form of nemia due the sun. I’m wondering how can increasing your exercise and eating healthier really boost yourself and defend yourself from all these parasites taking you down? Any answers?

    I have a returning yeast infection every week before my period for year now. I am mentally preparing to start your suggested clean up. I basiclly would only need to remove fruits, dark choclate and honey. I am currently already on your remineralising diet for my teeth, so I eat no wheat or sugars.
    But no fruit…..is a big step.

    Hello i dont know if people still write on this but i have an infection have a few of the symptoms you listed like rectal itching at night constant tiredness lower immune system i also have a fungal infection ,, me and my girlfriend have been trying for a baby is this the reason why it hasnt happened for us?
