Important information

Ingredients

sea sponges

Directions

Use a natural chemical-free soap or soak for 5-10 minutes in warm water with: 2-3 drops tea tree oil, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp baking soda, OR 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide (helps eliminate discoloration). Rinse sponge and squeeze out excess water. DO NOT boil your sponge! Boiling shrinks and toughens sea sponges. Clean your sponge: Prior to use for the first time, once daily during use, if the sponge develops an unpleasant odor, prior to storing. Sponges should also be completely dry before storage.

Not too bad
This was definitely interesting. ****TMI****Like some other women, I bought this to have sex. I currently have an IUD and have been spotting for over two months. My SO lives out of town so when plans were made for him to come into town, I had to find something. I did get an ok from my doctor. There was definitely an adjustment period and I had to trim it down. I think I bought a med size. I usually wear tampons so the idea of sticking something inside me with no applicator did not sound appealing but I kept reading it would be fine. It was not fine. It's not soft as silk and I even tried it with a little coconut oil. I got it up there but it wasn't pleasant. For regular female use I need to attach a string to help the "getting out "process a little easier. Nothing funnier or frustrating than digging into no man's land with your legs in different positions searching for lost treasure. Also, it's a bit messier than I expected. I think a string would be more helpful than fingers. As far as the sex side, he could not feel it so that was a plus. Also, to solve the going in process I used a clean super tampon applicator, stuck the sponge in there (after wetting and squeezed out) and was good to go. Another plus! Unfortunately...once again, lol the "getting out" process was a bit harder because the sponge is pushed up so much higher than normal and the best solution was to take it out in the shower because it was a ...bloody mess. I haven't found an easier way to get it out in that case. Cleaning is ok if you aren't squeamish about blood or blood clots for that matter and have a sink available. I couldn't take this out in public. But until my body regulates, this is an great option.Pics are the 2 sponges with one modified
